The oldest factory, the Khvanchkara Winery established in 1927, operating today under the name 'Khvanchkara Ltd' and has the potential for processing about 100 tons of grapes annually.

The company was founded in 1998 and evolved a full production cycle from viticulture to bottling of wine. Due to the latest technology and equipment the factory in Bugeuli has the capacity to process about 250 tons of grapes with an annual output of 1 million bottles of wine. The main brands of the two main factories are Khvanchkara, Tetra, Barakoni and Alexandrouli.
